Primrose Apothecary

Primrose Apothecary is a studio built around flower essences, which are made by hand in Portland. The studio describes its approach as modern yet grounded, and it draws on biodynamic growing practices, vibrational medicine and traditional herbal knowledge. Botanicals are grown in a private garden and harvested fresh, and the essences are made in small batches using solar infusion and preserved with locally sourced spirits. The FAQ notes that the final essence presses contain no plant material.

Clients can book private sessions in person or remotely. These include a Flower Attunement and Custom Blend Consultation, Flower Essence Consultations, custom botanical formulations, botanical oracle sessions, and ritual and mindfulness guidance. The studio also offers custom holistic facials and holistic hair services for all textures and lengths, including precision dry cutting and customized color. Beyond one-to-one work, it runs immersive botanical experiences for wellness events, retreats, brand activations, private gatherings, hospitality settings and community events, and it consults with beauty, wellness and lifestyle brands on clean beauty, product development and flower essence workshops.

Essences are sold individually and in kits. Individual essences are $25.00 for 1/2 oz (15 ml), and the Flower Essence Intro Kit is $95.00 and includes attunement cards, a guidebook and four essences. The essences are also sold at retailers in Oregon and Washington, including Portland Nursery and Elliot Bay Book Company.
