About
Felicia Howe started Primrose Apothecary, where she practices as a botanical wellness practitioner and also formulates products and teaches. She holds cosmetology and aesthetician licenses in California and Oregon, and she is an accredited herbalist, a certified aromatherapist, and a Master Gardener with training in biodynamic methods. Her career has included styling for editorial and celebrity clients, developing products, teaching salon staff, public speaking and consulting on wellness, and she founded one of Los Angeles' first green-certified salons. She brings more than three decades of work in sustainable beauty, plant-based formulation and holistic wellness. Her aromatherapy education includes over 250 hours of professional study at Stillpoint Aromatics in Sedona, Arizona. She has studied herbalism and plant medicine with Rosemary Gladstar, and joined field studies and plant education with William Broen of Herb Pharm. Further coursework has come from the University of Sussex, Wheaton College, the Claremont Colleges, Los Angeles Community College, the Aveda Institute and EvanHealy, along with study of Feng Shui design, Reiki and mindfulness practices. Her focus is flower essence therapy and botanical formulations. Services span private sessions, events and experiences, consulting and collaborations, and holistic hair services. The hair work covers precision dry cutting, customized color, and luminous and dimensional blondes. Color is done with organic, low-toxic formulas and gentle techniques meant to preserve softness and scalp health.
