How we collect information
Salon websites are hard to compare. Prices hide in PDFs, teams sit on separate pages, and the booking link is often three clicks deep. REVELLE reads those sites and puts the same facts in the same place for every salon: who works there, what they specialize in, what it costs and where to book.
Where our information comes from
Everything on REVELLE comes from the public internet, mostly each business's own website. Our crawler, REVELLEBot, follows strict rules:
- Obeys robots.txt, including Crawl-delay.
- About one request per second per site, at most.
- Skips logins, carts, accounts and anything not public; no CAPTCHA solving or evasion.
- Never crawls Instagram, TikTok or Facebook; it stores links only.
- Content is not used to train AI models and is not resold.
Every listing links back to the source and shows when it was last checked.
Found something wrong or out of date? Report it and we'll fix it. If it's your business, you can also ask us to remove the listing.
We never take a booking or a fee. Every Book button goes to the salon's or the professional's own booking page.
