The salon began in 2011 as Salon Lisa Brown and is run by members of the Brown family. In March 2024 it moved into its SalonSpa space, which added massage therapy, facials, full-service nails and full-body waxing to the hair menu. It sits directly across from Promenade Shopping Center and next to the Rosser Farms neighborhood.

About

Continuing education is central to the business. Team members share techniques with one another, and the brand is built around total haircare education. The salon says every artist is trained to its top standards, and that artists work with every hair texture, from straight and wavy to curly and coily. Assistants and new talent are licensed and learn under senior artists through the Assistant Pathway to Success Program.

Services are grouped into hair, spa, bridal and special occasions, men's grooming, makeup and lashes, and packages. Hair prices are quoted for shoulder-length hair and change with length and density. Lash artists are trained in Bella Lash Classic and Volume application, and the salon says its makeup artists have met licensing requirements. It also partners with MUD Make-Up Designory, which the salon describes as offering award-winning artistry. Bookings can be made online, through the MeGo Client app, by email or by phone; reservations are not taken through social media. Online and phone bookings require a 50 percent deposit, and cancellations or reschedules made with less than 48 hours' notice carry a 50 percent fee. The business is cashless and keeps a credit card on file, though account credit can be used instead. Clients have a 25-minute grace period before a no-show is recorded, and children must be 9 or older to be in the SalonSpa space and receiving a service. The salon says it keeps wait times under 25 minutes, and most hair, skin and nail visits are estimated at 60 to 90 minutes or more. The last appointment each day is one hour before closing. Hours are Tuesday 12pm to 6pm, Wednesday through Friday 10am to 7pm, and Saturday 8:30am to 4pm; it is closed Mondays and Sundays.

Other offerings include a complimentary 10-minute consultation, group rates for 10 or more guests, gift cards, monthly promotions and an automatically enrolled loyalty rewards program. Hair and makeup can be provided on location through the Glam Squad, and the salon has a private event space available for bookings. A service can be redone if a concern is reported within 48 hours of the appointment. Packages can save up to 20 percent on the services they include and expire one year after purchase.

Hair and skin services are tailored to each client's needs, and spa technicians use high-quality products and techniques. Education and sharing knowledge across the team sit at the core of the business.
