The Design Team is developed in-house. Every member begins at the salon as a Protégé Stylist, and stylist levels reflect years in the industry, continuing education and time on the team. Named levels include Apprentice, Protégé, Senior Stylist, Senior Designer and Design Team, with master-level stylists on staff for haircolor and extensions.

Appointments can be booked online. First-time haircolor guests are directed to Technique Haircolor, where services are customized after a consultation and a Technique reservation is recommended. Existing guests book Haircolor Maintenance, which includes shampoo and product application. Listed prices and appointment times are estimates based on average hair density and length, and pricing can be discussed at consultation before any service begins.

Satisfaction concerns about a haircut, haircolor or extension service should be raised with the salon within seven calendar days; adjustments requested after that window are scheduled as a follow-up service at additional cost. Cancellations or changes need 24 hours' notice, and shorter notice may incur a fee of at least half the booked services, paid directly to the stylist. Requests for changes from a higher-level designer also carry an added cost.

The salon's aim is for each person to look and feel their best, with the guest experience at the center. Technique haircolor is shaped after consultation, and extension method and color are chosen at a consultation.
