Anisa Afiri's aim is for clients to feel at ease and good about their hair, whether they want to chat through the appointment or prefer a quiet one.

Color services range from balayage, which is sometimes called hair painting, to full and partial highlights with an all-over gloss, single process root touch-ups for grey coverage, and double process and vivid colors, including platinum and pastel shades on hair that isn't naturally toned. Custom and corrective color is also offered, often combined with highlighting and treatments. Custom and corrective work needs an in-person or phone consultation first.

Curly hair is a particular focus. The Curl Talk Session covers curl type, washing, conditioning, styling products and how to refresh curls between washes, and ends with a wash, a deep condition or bond repair, and a curly style. New clients can book a longer first haircut that leaves room for a consultation, a wash and blowout or a curly set. Cezanne Keratin Treatment is a formaldehyde-free smoothing service that reduces frizz and improves strength and texture; it does not straighten hair.

Prices are listed as starting amounts and can rise with appointment length. Appointments must be booked online, and a credit card is required to hold a booking. Some bookings may also need a non-refundable deposit at checkout. Rescheduling is allowed up to three days ahead. Cancelling within 48 hours carries a fee of half the service, and cancelling within 24 hours or a no-call no-show is charged in full before rebooking. A 15 or 30 minute consultation is available for $25, with the fee credited toward a later service.

Each appointment is kept to one client, with the focus on haircuts and on helping clients feel comfortable with their hair.
