Every visit starts with a consultation, where the stylist talks through a client's goals, concerns, allergies and any medical conditions before work begins. Services are grouped into haircuts, blow and style, treatments, packages, color and texture, with separate bridal and special-offer menus. Prices shown are starting rates that depend on hair length and thickness, and they can change without notice. Bridal work includes trials, wedding-day styling, formal designs, blow-outs, braids and flower girl styling for children 11 and younger, and out-of-salon bridal packages are available by calling the salon. Corrective color often takes more than one visit to reach the result a client wants, and color services are not guaranteed when color was done elsewhere beforehand. Services are guaranteed 100% for two weeks, with guarantees decided by the stylist. Appointments can be booked online or by phone, but changes and cancellations must be made by phone, with at least 24 hours' notice. A cancellation within 24 hours may be charged 50% and a no-show or same-day cancellation may be charged in full. Clients who often miss or reschedule need to keep a credit card on file. Pets are not allowed except certified service animals. Payment is accepted by major cards, Apple Pay, cash and contactless, and appointments and contactless payment are also available through the Pocket Salon app.
