The salon builds its work on science and honesty rather than on brands or passing trends. Stylists start by listening to what a client wants from their hair and help them weigh options, and hair's pH is balanced before services, which the salon says supports results and keeps the hair's structure intact.

Traditional permanent color processes in about ten minutes, uses a moisturizing cream base and offers deep gray coverage. Organic color is made with essential oils and certified organic ingredients, is free of ammonia, gluten, PPD, resorcinol and MEA, and comes in biodynamic and Fair Trade Certified options. The salon says its organic formulas use a gentle pH that respects the hair fiber and improves texture over time. Custom color includes ombre, sombre, color melt, dip-dyeing, pastels and vivids, along with foil highlights and balayage.

Beyond color, the salon offers cuts from short to long, perms, Keratin Smoothing, blow dry styling, waxing for the lip, brow and chin, event and daily-wear makeup, and bridal and group packages. Extensions come in hand-tied, tape-in and micropoint formats, and hair pieces such as wefts and bangs can be colored to match natural hair. A $75 extension consultation is credited toward installation or purchase.

Complimentary consultations are offered for any service, either virtually or in person. Clients receive text and email reminders before appointments unless they ask not to. Cancellations or reschedules need 48 hours' notice; a 50% fee may apply to a late cancellation if the time cannot be rebooked, and fees are waived when a client is sick. Parking includes plenty of on-street spaces and a large municipal lot behind the salon, three bus routes serve the area, and the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway runs alongside. The salon also has space for other experienced professionals to join its team.
