Ongoing education comes from outside instructors and weekly classes held in the salon. Every client is seated with a licensed professional.

The salon aims to give every client a consistently high-quality experience. Clients share their stylists, so a visit can be handled by whoever is best suited to the request. New clients who are unsure what they want can book a free consultation with a stylist first. Hair services begin with a shampoo that includes a scalp massage. Color correction and extensions are priced after a consultation, color correction at an hourly rate, and starting prices for other services depend on stylist level.

Appointments can be booked online, and gift cards are sold through the website. The Good Hair Society loyalty program is free to join with an email address and gives rewards at each appointment, plus a birthday reward for members. Cancellations and reschedules should be made at least 24 hours ahead. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours are charged 50 percent, and no-shows are charged the full amount. The salon also offers bridal services off site.
