A visit starts with a personal consultation before the cut, and clients can browse the online haircut lookbook and bring a look with them. Walk-ins are welcome: check in at the front desk and you will be seen in turn. Online Check-In lets you join the waitlist and see estimated wait times; it is not an appointment, it opens five minutes after the salon opens, closes as the wait nears closing, and is not available for perms or formal updos. Stylist schedules are not published, and requests for a particular stylist are made at the salon.

Technical notes on past haircuts, called Clip Notes, are kept so that any stylist can repeat a previous cut. The salon states that satisfaction with all services and products is guaranteed, and concerns go to the staff on site.
