A first visit is a full assessment. Each patient leaves with a personalized plan and a calendar for the year, provided as a printed copy and an emailed copy. Consultations can be held in person or virtually, and a first visit by video is available for people who live far from Manhattan. Virtual visits are used for planning only, and all treatment takes place in the office.

Injectable work includes hyaluronic acid gel fillers from several makers, Radiesse, Sculptra and neuromodulators such as Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau, Daxxify and Letybo. Neuromodulators are often paired with filler for support and with lasers for skin quality. Dr. Day personally performs every filler injection, and the practice notes that she administers every Sculptra and Radiesse injection herself.

The range of laser and energy-based treatments is wide. A physician plans each one, choosing the device and its settings according to skin type, skin tone and how much downtime a client can manage. Every plan includes a written home skincare routine. Devices on the menu include Fotona 4D and 5D, Clear + Brilliant, UltraClear, UltraPulse CO2, Moxi, Vbeam, Lumenis Stellar M22, Sciton mJOULE, Tixel, microneedling with EndyMed or SkinPen, Sofwave, Ultherapy and Thermage.

Hair restoration is offered using Fotona.

The practice is out of network and does not bill insurance plans directly. After a visit it provides a superbill that patients can submit to their insurer for possible reimbursement. Insurance plans usually do not cover cosmetic treatments such as neuromodulators, fillers or lasers. The office is open Monday through Friday with varied hours and is closed on weekends. The nearest subway is 68th Street/Hunter College on the 6 train, a few blocks away.

The practice treats skin as part of overall health, building a plan around each person with the aim of enhancing and protecting natural-looking skin. Dr. Day says she does not believe in anti-aging and prefers aging well in the healthiest way possible.
