Willow & Roots was founded in 2020 and opened its own suite that same year. The owner and her suitemate had worked together at a previous salon, and the suite they now share is small and personal.

Extensions are a central part of the work. XO hair is hand-tied and the salon describes it as 100% virgin remy hair that can last more than eight months with proper care. New extension clients start with a consultation, then receive a price quote, and a 50% deposit books the installation. Pricing depends on how much hair is needed and the extension type, and an aftercare product set is included in the quote.

Color services use Joico haircolor and products, and the salon is a Joico salon. Blonding ranges from mini highlights to full custom blonding, and color services include a complimentary blowout.

Each visit is tailored to the client's style, with the aim that clients leave relaxed and feeling their best. Brow, lip, chin and full face waxing are offered as well. Visits include complimentary soft drinks, water, select alcoholic beverages, light snacks and free WiFi. Booking is through the online reservation link or Vagaro, or by text.
