Wax Therapy is a Minneapolis studio focused on hair removal by waxing, with a menu that runs from single small areas such as the lip or chin to full arms, full legs and combined packages. It also offers eyebrow and eyelash tinting.

The studio uses a soft, soy-based wax that it says suits every area of the body. Brow waxing covers the area above, below and between the brows and includes trimming. Tailored bikini waxing can be customized in shape and placement, and the Brazilian option can leave some hair on top if preferred. Most body services take 15 to 60 minutes.

The studio asks clients to prepare in a few ways: hair should be at least a quarter inch long, and about two weeks of growth is the recommended amount. Longer pubic hair can be trimmed at home with scissors rather than an electric trimmer. Clients should exfoliate well before the visit but not on the day, moisturize beforehand without applying oil, lotion or powder on the day, and avoid alcohol and excessive caffeine for 24 hours before waxing. An over-the-counter pain reliever may be taken beforehand. Clients who are on their period can still book if they bring a cup or tampon to keep blood off the skin.

The studio is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am to 6pm and Thursday and Friday from 10am to 4pm, and is closed Monday, Saturday and Sunday. Appointments are booked through the Book Now button on the website, and questions can go to the phone line, text, or the contact email.
