Nikki, the owner, began working at local day spas after completing esthetics training at PCI Academy in Plymouth, Minnesota. She later built a solo skin care practice, which became Niks Skin. After several years practicing in St. Cloud, she moved the business to Northeast Minneapolis, where it now operates from a studio inside Sola Salons.

The studio describes its treatments as corrective, rejuvenating and fully personalized, and its style as simple, professional and relaxed. Visits are one-on-one. Clients who prefer a quiet appointment can choose the silent option after a short talk about their needs.

The menu runs from express mini facials through longer custom and dermaplaning sessions, with add-on LED, neck and decollete, and mask options. It also includes Skin Classic treatments for minor skin irregularities, brow and lash services, and waxing. Clients can buy Lira Clinical and Hale & Hush products at a free 15-minute product pick-up appointment.

Treatments are personalized and offered in a relaxed, one-on-one setting. The owner keeps up with industry knowledge through annual trade shows and certification courses.
