Growth since then includes the Palo Alto salon, acquired in 1998, and a group of Arizona salons acquired in 2015 that had previously been known as Mood Swings. The Roseville salon and spa was established in 1987, the Edina salon and spa in 2007, and the Saint Paul and Wayzata locations have operated since 1996 and 1997. A Creative Hub on Loring Park in Minneapolis, set up in 2022, houses corporate offices and the New Artist Salon. The business describes itself as having operated for four decades and as known for ongoing education.

A visit typically starts with a consultation, which is included with most hair and color services and with each massage, where the therapist builds a customized plan. Facials open with an Aveda aroma journey and a sound bowl, while manicures and pedicures begin with an aroma journey and a heated neck and shoulder wrap. Massages begin with an aroma sensory journey and singing bowl and keep heat throughout the session. Bookings can be made online, by text or by phone at 612.676.2250. A credit card is required to book any service and is held for the cancellation and no-show policy only. Changes made with less than 24 hours notice are charged half the scheduled cost, and a missed appointment without notice is charged the full cost. A 3.0% surcharge applies to Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit card payments, including card-on-file charges, but not to debit, cash or checks. Parking is free near the main entrance at Edina, and the Saint Paul location has its own lot. Metered street parking is in front of the Minneapolis salon, which is free on Saturdays.
