The salon describes its mission as celebrating community and helping people feel free to be themselves. It names recycling, composting and waste reduction among its core values, and says it plans to grow slowly so the quality of its team and work holds. New guests should plan for 60 to 90 minutes, longer for color, and the salon recommends a consultation before any major color, blonding, vivid shade or corrective work. A haircut includes the consultation, a wash, the cut, a blow-dry and tips for styling at home, and every service comes with product recommendations and aftercare guidance. The salon describes its shampoo experience as its own and offers quiet appointments with minimal conversation when requested. Non-alcoholic craft cocktails, cold brew and sparkling tonics are available.

Specialties include dimensional blonding, balayage and cruelty-free color, with a range of haircuts for finer and fuller hair alike. The Double Phase Haircut is designed for 3B or curlier textures and combines a dry cut with a wet-to-dry finish. Protective styles keep ends tucked away to limit handling. Bleach services need a consultation and, where applicable, a deposit. The salon says its hairdressers are trained on all hair textures. Stated typical wear times are three to six months for balayage, eight to 12 weeks for highlights and four to six weeks for root touch-ups, depending on the hair and upkeep.

Booking is by appointment, with walk-ins welcome when a chair is open. Haircuts can usually be booked one to three weeks ahead and color or blonding three to six weeks ahead. Cancellations and changes need 48 hours' notice by phone, and a missed appointment is charged in full. Clintonville has street parking on High Street, Longview Avenue and Como Avenue, with a two-hour limit on High Street. The Brewery District has about two hours of street parking and a small lot on the south side of the building.
