About

A visit usually begins with a consultation. Phone consultations are offered, and a complimentary 10-minute phone call is available. An on-site consultation costs $31 and is applied toward a future service, except for perm and retexturizing consultations. After consultation, clients receive a written plan that covers expected outcomes, time estimates and a price. Each quote is prepared individually. Extension clients complete a short online application first, then a consultation to settle the method, length, color and texture. Retexturizing also starts with a consultation, and a written plan and quote come before any service.

Stylists are rated in levels, from Phresh Talent 0.1 to 0.3 and then Levels 1.0 to 7.3. Newer stylists shadow, consult with and learn from senior stylists, and development runs through Vitality Academy for Salon Arts. Clients can book different stylists under the Open Stylist Policy until they find someone who suits them.

Appointments can be booked online or by calling or texting 614-545-7100. Changes or cancellations made up to 72 hours ahead carry no fee. Moved appointments may carry a cancellation fee, which clients can ask to have deducted from their final total, at the provider's discretion. Metered parking is on High St. in front of the salon, and garage parking is on Hubbard Ave. just east of High St. Parking directly behind the salon is permit-only.

The salon says its work rests on clear communication, collaboration with clients and care at every visit. Stylists are trained up through a level system with senior stylists guiding newer ones.

The salon describes its space as upscale but unpretentious.
