Vibe KC was opened in 2020 by Brittney, who owns the salon and works as a stylist there. The team includes several stylists, and the salon's work centers on color and classic haircuts.

Color is the main focus. Brittney specializes in low-maintenance, hand-painted brunette balayage. Dimensional Color with Haircut starts at $445 and takes 3-4 hours, Dimensional Color Refresh with Haircut starts at $385 and takes 2-2.5 hours, and All Over Color with Cut starts at $335 for non-dimensional color applied from roots to ends. A Creative Color service for new color clients starts at $475 and takes 4-6 hours, and a Root Touch-Up is listed at $150. Color prices can change with hair density, the amount of color used and the complexity of the service, and any additional charges are discussed before the service starts.

Haircuts and waxing cover a Women's Cut at $120, a Men's Cut at $62 for current clients only, and Facial Waxing at $25 per area. Root Color for grey coverage or for darkening natural color can be added to any color service for $45. Extra time of $30 is added to bookings for long hair below the shoulder blades or for thick hair.

New clients can book an in-person color consultation or fill out a new client color consultation form. Those who would rather not complete forms can request the questionnaire by email. The salon is open Tuesday from 1 to 8, Wednesday from 10 to 7, Thursday from 12 to 6 and Friday from 10 to 6.

The salon's approach favors color that suits each client's natural base, with services shaped around how the hair is meant to be worn and maintained between visits.
