The Green Lake location is also the education hub where the whole artist team trains together. VCO EDU, the salon's education platform, runs from the VCO Studio there, hosts industry classes and welcomes guest artists and educators. The salon says product sales help fund that ongoing education, and stylists earn commission on sales made through the shop links. The shop carries R+Co haircare, ROZ products and Valentine Collective merchandise.

Clients book online by choosing a specific artist and viewing that artist's availability. The salon is mainly appointment-based and suggests booking two to six weeks ahead, since availability varies by artist and season. New clients book a New Client service, which gives extra time to learn about their hair and goals, and every New Client color service includes a haircut. A consultation is required before transformation color and extension services, and is recommended before big changes, corrections, Mega blonding and bronding, and New Client blonding and bronding. It is optional for other visits and useful for anyone unsure what to book.

The bridal team works with all hair textures, including curly hair, and shapes each look around the bride's vision. Bride and bridal party services are organized by artist level, from Emerging to Signature and Lead Artist, and Lead Artists have been on the bridal team for five or more years. Master Artist brides work with Haley Valentine directly. Artists are chosen for skill, a growth mindset and commitment to the guest experience. Bridal preview is included in bride pricing, and bridal party members or mothers can book a preview for a fee, subject to availability. On-site weddings across Washington and beyond carry a $1,200 service minimum, which covers planning and coordination as well as the wedding day. Travel fees start at $130 and are set for each wedding's getting-ready location. Hair and makeup for engagement photos and other events can also be booked. Hollywood waves carry an extra fee and need extra time, so they must be requested at booking. Styling is not offered for children under 12.

Hair extensions are installed by hand-tied, weft and tape-in methods, using Bellami hair that the salon supplies, and an in-salon swatch ring helps match color. Installs require an in-person consultation or current extension client status, and new extension clients pay a non-refundable deposit to order hair. Clients receive an extension care box with aftercare instructions after the first install, and extension rentals are not offered. A 20% deposit reserves all appointments and is non-refundable. Changes need at least 24 to 48 hours notice. Cancelling within 48 hours is charged at 50% of scheduled services, and cancelling within 24 hours or a no-show is charged at 100%. Guests more than 15 minutes late may have services adjusted and are still charged for the original booking.

Visits are built around a personalized consultation with the health of the client's hair as the first priority, and artists plan refined, intentional designs around each client's lifestyle and hair goals.
