True North Artistry runs three kinds of work: hair services, one-on-one mentoring, and the ELEVATED event series. Hair services are offered at 1213 Studio, a collective of independent stylists in Plaza Midwood with natural light, plants and art. The studio sits near Elizabeth, Chantilly, South End, Uptown, Villa Heights and NoDa, across from Thomas Street Tavern and Burial Brewing. Free parking is in a gravel lot behind the building, reached through an alley, and there is free street parking along Thomas Ave. plus the Thomas Ave. Parking Lot next door at 1225 Thomas Ave. Paid lots are also nearby at 1616 Central Ave. and 2100 Commonwealth Ave.

The hair work covers gray coverage and blending, lived-in color, and hidden row extensions. Color and extension maintenance can be booked together in a single appointment, with the extension service added from the Add-On menu, and consultations are offered for anyone unsure what to book. Hair pricing is flat-rate with gratuity included. Payment is by major credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. New clients must keep a card on file. Cancellations made more than 24 hours ahead are free, while no-calls, no-shows and same-day cancellations are charged in full, and rebooking after a missed or late cancellation requires upfront payment. Arrivals have a 15-minute grace window. Hair salon hours are Tuesday 10 AM to 6 PM, Wednesday noon to 8 PM, and Thursday 10 AM to 5 PM.

Mentoring is one-on-one and fully virtual, pairing conversation with somatic work. One Session is $225 and runs 90 minutes to two hours, with two weeks of WhatsApp text and voice memo support and a 30-minute integration call. Three Sessions is $600 and can be used back to back, monthly, or within six months. Booking them back to back gives continuous support and one longer integration call at the end. The Deep Dive is $1,500 over three months, with six virtual sessions that alternate coaching calls and somatic sessions, WhatsApp support throughout, and an integration call two weeks after the final session. Payment plans for The Deep Dive are available on request. It begins with an intake form, and clients who have completed three sessions can send messages instead. Its topics include sacral center and womb clearing and timeline healing. Ongoing support after The Deep Dive is offered by invitation. Mentoring is not therapy, and anyone in crisis is directed to a licensed therapist.

ELEVATED is a social event series built around the question of what might be possible if people loved themselves more. Each session has a DJ, a guided structure with a question and journaling, and a connection exercise with another attendee. Some sessions are local and some travel, and every session is recorded and uploaded to SoundCloud. At some sessions held in dispensary settings, plant medicine is part of the room, and it is never required. Attendees choose from two weekly giving options under the Cover Charge donation practice, and people in the Charlotte area are directed to the Catawba Nation as a standing donation recommendation.

Products are chosen for whether they work without compromising the body, and mentoring is built around conversation and somatic work instead of a fixed plan.
