Nail health comes first at TLC, and natural nails are not drilled. BIAB and hard gel are built on top of the natural nail instead. The salon describes BIAB as its most-booked service. Gel manicures are a color service on natural nails and do not add length; they typically last about two weeks or more with care.

Clients book through the website widget or by calling or texting (347) 879-2075, with a 45% deposit due at booking and the balance paid when the service is finished. Walk-ins are not accepted. Before a nail appointment, clients are asked to arrive with clean, polish-free nails, to skip heavy cuticle oil and hand lotion that day, and to avoid picking or peeling their natural nails in the days before. Gel and BIAB are removed by acetone soak-off, and hard gel is filed down rather than soaked off. The salon is open Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm, Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm, and closed Thursday.

The salon also offers waxing for body areas, including men's waxing, and a men's manicure that is a color-free option with nail and cuticle care, shaping and an optional clear gel top coat. The three spa packages combine nail care and waxing into one visit. TLC does not offer foot nail services or Manzilians, and its focus is on the hands.

Nail health comes first across every service, so natural nails are built up over the surface rather than drilled, and the salon suggests BIAB for clients with weak or thin nails, chronic breakage, or those moving away from acrylics.

Each visit happens in a single private suite with one client at a time.
