THE SKN LOUNGE describes itself as a place offering experienced medical esthetician care aimed at helping clients achieve clear, even skin. The studio serves women only and is run around a menu that spans gentle treatments for children and teens through to bridal, custom and couples facials.
The menu is built around layers. Most facials can be paired with add-ons such as a 24K gold eye mask, a lip plump enhancer, an eye brightening treatment, a jelly mask, or a dermaplane or biorepeel add-on, so a visit can be shaped to the skin concern at hand. HydraFacial options run from a quick express version to a signature, platinum, arm, back or two-person format.
Skin-resurfacing and corrective options include VI chemical peels, a bio-stimulating peel that the studio says involves no peeling, microneedling with optional neck treatment, and CO2 lift and CO2 carboxy treatments, which can be taken home as a product option. The studio says its CO2 carboxy gel skincare is scientifically proven, a claim it makes about its own product.
Before booking a first treatment, new clients can have an in-studio consultation, which is free if they go on to purchase a treatment or product, or a short virtual consultation over video. For groups or events, the SKN 2 GO service brings a customizable HydraFacial to the client's chosen location, priced by arrangement.
Business hours run across most of the week, with Monday, Saturday and Sunday shorter than midweek. Cancellations within 24 to 48 hours should be made by phone or text, and a 20 percent service fee applies to no-shows.
