The salon opened in 2014 when a downtown Raleigh nightclub was converted into a hair salon, and it has kept its bar since. During the pandemic it chose to focus entirely on hair services while keeping the bar. The salon has been in downtown Raleigh for more than 12 years and is located inside The Dillon Building in the Warehouse District.

About

Visits start with a complimentary consultation of about 15 minutes, which is free for new guests, for major changes and for haircut, color, curly hair and extension services. Pricing depends on hair and goals, and listed prices cover the consultation, wash and blow-dry, with extra charges for longer, thicker or curly hair confirmed before work begins. Prices vary by stylist, and the price for the chosen stylist shows on the booking page. Walk-ins are welcome during business hours, though booking ahead is recommended, and a credit card on file secures appointments. Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice, and late cancellations or no-shows can be charged the full service amount. Clients arriving late may have their service shortened, and the full price still applies. A complimentary adjustment is offered for haircuts, color and styling if clients get in touch within 14 days, though services are not refunded.

Color is mixed with Schwarzkopf, Davines and Redken formulas, and a custom copper color called Cowboy Copper is tailored to each client mainly with Redken and Davines systems. Toner is included with every lightening or highlighting service. Ammonia-free formulas for grey services are available on request for sensitive scalps. Clients are advised to wait at least 48 hours after color before washing, and they can text inspiration photos to the salon before an appointment. Formaldehyde-free smoothing options are available alongside the Brazilian Blowout, Cezanne and Lasio treatments.

Curly hair services are offered for all curl types, from loose waves to tight coils, and the salon can refer clients who want less curl to its keratin smoothing services. Parking is in The Dillon deck, which is open around the clock, covered, well lit and has EV charging. The deck charges $2 per hour with a daily maximum of $18, and it sits directly across from the Raleigh Amtrak station and Transit Center. Street parking is also available around the block.

Consultations come first, so each service is matched to a client's hair history, goals and lifestyle before booking. The salon says it chooses salon-grade products with hair health in mind.
