The studio was established in 2012 and was founded by Lauren Mae. It began in Downtown San Francisco and later moved to a larger suite in Alamo, inside W Salon Suites. Visits are by appointment, Wednesday through Saturday from 9am to 6pm.

Every extension plan starts with a complimentary 15-minute in-person consultation, where the stylist listens to goals, concerns and daily hair needs before any installation is priced. The studio says there is no single method that suits everyone, so the aim is the right fit for each client's hair, comfort and overall experience.

Fusion extensions are attached one strand at a time, can be cut to match hair density, and are described as lasting about four months without maintenance; a full-head application takes roughly three to four hours, using cold or thermal methods depending on hair type. Microlink extensions are attached strand by strand without adhesive and can be reused. Tape extensions have a flat, discreet attachment and last about six to eight weeks before an adjustment, and they can be reapplied up to three times depending on how well the hair has been cared for. A full-head tape application takes about an hour and a half.

Removals are done slowly. Tape removal uses an alcohol-based solution with no pliers or combs, and microlink removal uses a special tool to loosen each link without solvents. Clients are expected to arrive with about two inches of new growth, and removal is charged at $100 per hour.

Listed starting prices include a full-head tape adjustment at $200 and a half-head tape adjustment at $175; a link adjustment at $215; and a full link removal and reinstall at $400. Single process color starts at $110, partial highlights at $200, full highlights at $250, and color and highlights at $300. A women's haircut is $100, a dry cut $85 and a blowdry $75. Keratin treatment or Brazilian Blowout is $400, and Japanese hair straightening is priced after consultation. Extension installations are also priced after consultation.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice are charged 50% of the appointment price, and no-shows are charged in full. Extension and topper purchases, including installation, are final sale except where the law requires otherwise. Unopened product returns for change of mind are accepted within 14 days.
