The salon moved to its current Midtown location in September 2024. Before that it spent about ten years in Raleigh's City Market, which it entered in 2012, and it was earlier on North Boylan Avenue for a few years. The salon is quiet and comfortable, with a relaxed, upbeat feel, and it aims for a pleasant environment without ego or pretension.

Appointments are required and walk-ins are not accepted at this time. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice, otherwise a 50% service fee may apply. Parking is free. Haircut prices include a blow-dry and style. The salon sits just north of Lidl in Midtown, convenient to midtown and North Raleigh as well as downtown.

Color is a central part of the menu, with services ranging from retouches and refreshes to corrective color, balayage or ombré, babylight, total transformation and a platinum card service. Add-ons such as shadow root, glaze/toner and base can be combined with color. Keratin smoothing and several conditioning and repair treatments are also offered, along with upstyles for special occasions and bridal parties. The salon uses Paul Mitchell color and styling products, along with Pureology, Framesi and American Crew, and styling products used in the salon are sold for home use.

Stylists are trained in geometric cutting, color theory and a structured approach to listening to what each client wants.
