A visit begins with a consultation about the client's current hair, their goals and how they style their hair day to day. Service pricing depends on stylist level and the consultation, and is based on time and product used, so it can rise if more of either is needed. Hours are Monday 9am to 5pm, Tuesday through Thursday 9am to 8pm, Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm, with the salon closed on Sundays.

The team uses the titles Art Director, Master Stylist, Senior Stylist, Junior Stylist and Associate Stylist. Many current team members began at the salon as assistants or apprentices. The salon runs a structured apprentice training program, stylists are mentored by Master Stylists and Art Directors, and there is monthly and quarterly education that includes advanced cutting and color, along with ongoing technical and product knowledge training.

Appointments are secured with a credit card, and the salon places a confirmation call 48 hours ahead. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are charged half the cost of the missed service, and no-shows are charged the full cost. Guests more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule or change their services. Services are not refunded, but the salon will work to resolve a problem and will accommodate a request to switch stylists. Gratuities are not included in prices and are paid in cash or check in envelopes at the reception desk.

Event hair is priced by consultation and depends on styling complexity, location and timing. A non-refundable deposit secures the date, travel fees and accommodations may apply for off-site work, and trials are recommended about two to three months before the event. Gift certificates start at $25, exclude gratuities and cannot be redeemed for cash. The loyalty program gives $1 in rewards for every $30 spent, and the rewards do not expire. Product purchases can be exchanged within 30 days, and product credit cannot be used toward services. Customized color formulas can be bought for $200 and remain the property of the salon. Only service animals are permitted.

Services start with a consultation about the client's hair, goals and routine. Cuts are shaped to the client's natural texture and fall with the grow-out in mind, and products are chosen based on how they perform after testing.
