The salon uses environmentally friendly hair care products, and the space has a chic, eclectic look with a relaxed feel. Its service menu is organized under hair services, with named offerings for each need: HEY GIRL! new client consultations, Shear Slicing's haircuts in long or short lengths, Color Cocktails for vibrant color, Creamy Crack for straightening, Hair Recovery for strengthening, Give Me More for volume or length, Styling for a finished look, and I'm in a Rush for early morning appointments.

Booking works differently from a walk-in salon. Every appointment must be made online and is set on the hour. Clients should choose the correct services when booking, since services not booked are not provided. Only one client is served at a time, so anyone running late should call. Clients more than 15 minutes late may be served at the stylist's discretion or asked to reschedule. Children are only permitted in the salon when they are being serviced.

Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of the appointment, or the full amount of services is charged, and missed appointments are charged the same way. Deposits are non-refundable but can be applied to one rescheduled appointment made 10 days after the original. Outstanding fees must be paid before the next appointment can be booked.

Hours are Tuesday 10:30am to 5:00pm, Wednesday through Friday 10:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday 10:00am to 2:00pm. Sunday is by special appointment only. The salon supports community programs, including a prom event for a selected young woman, Dawn's Angels holiday gifts, back-to-school supply donations, and meals and toiletries for displaced people.

The salon aims to give each client a personal experience alongside professional hair care, using environmentally friendly products.
