Founded in 2020, The Curl Studio WC has a philosophy centered on giving every curl pattern and texture proper care. The salon is located at Sola Salon Suites in downtown Walnut Creek. Free parking spots are right outside the building, within the Palm Court Shopping Center.

Cutting is the core of the menu. The Curl Cut is done on dry hair and shaped to each client's goals, and it includes a wash, conditioning and natural curl styling, though blowouts are not part of it. The Rëzo Cut is a separate dry-cutting technique aimed at a rounder shape with more volume and texture, and it includes a wash. Clients who only want a trim can book either cut. Before every haircut there is a full consultation to settle on the cut together, and the salon suggests a curl cut every four to five months to keep curls healthy. Consultations can be done virtually or in person to help choose the right services for a client's curls.

Color services are offered for curly and straight hair alike. RëzoLites is a highlighting method designed for curls that resembles a full highlight and helps color grow out more naturally. Tint covers grey at the root and can include a toner or gloss, followed by a blowout, and Tint with Signature Pieces adds a few highlights or lowlights to root coverage.

Staff enjoy showing clients how to look after their hair at home. A Curl Lesson is a one-on-one session covering products, styling, treatments, curl upkeep and home care. Appointments are booked online through Vagaro.

Custom designs are created around each client's specific hair needs, and staff enjoy teaching clients how to care for their curls at home.
