Hair by Morgan works from Citizen Salon in Lafayette. The menu is intentionally focused on haircuts, keratin smoothing, root tints and toners. Clients looking for bleach, highlights, balayage or corrective color are referred to trusted stylists and colorists elsewhere.

Cuts are shaped for low upkeep, so they can grow out softly and fit a client's daily routine. The keratin smoothing treatment is meant to reduce frizz, soften texture and add shine, and root tints and toners are used to refresh or adjust tone between cuts.

Booking runs through the online system on the website. Texts and emails are not used to schedule appointments, and last-minute squeeze-ins are not offered. Most clients book three to four weeks out and are encouraged to set the next visit before leaving. A waitlist is available and people are notified automatically if an opening comes up. Cancelling, rescheduling or missing an appointment with less than 48 hours' notice is charged the full service cost, including for illness or emergencies. Rescheduling is done through the link in the confirmation email, and changes made more than 48 hours ahead avoid a charge. Arriving more than 20 minutes late counts as a no-show. A card is required to book and is charged automatically if a fee applies. Zelle, Apple Cash and cash are accepted; cards carry a 3% processing fee.
