Salon Cartier is a small, boutique-style hair studio in Walnut Creek, led by two master stylists, Robin and Robert Cartier. The salon describes itself as intimate and exclusive, and each guest is booked into a one-on-one consultation before any service.

Services cover haircuts and styling, including precision cuts, short cuts and a Renewal Experience with a customized scalp treatment, scalp massage, precision cut, blow-dry and home care advice. Color services include gray coverage, highlights, blonding, gloss and tone, and gray blending. Conditioning add-ons can be added to most cut, color and smoothing services. Pricing reflects the experience and education of the provider.

Clients receive a confirmation call or text 48 hours before the appointment and an email 3 days before. Without full notice the salon may charge half the reserved service fee, and the full amount if the problem continues. Payment is accepted by cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and debit cards, and gratuities are separate from service prices and can be paid in cash or Venmo. The salon guarantees satisfaction and asks clients who are unhappy with a result to report it within a week for correction. Gift certificates can be ordered by phone or in person, picked up or mailed, must be presented at the appointment, and are non-refundable; the salon is not responsible for lost or stolen certificates.
