The Blowdry Cafe runs a salon in Upper Arlington at 4740 Reed Rd, Columbus, and a second location at 141 Greenside St in Powell. Blowouts are at the center of the menu, with color, makeup and smaller treatments offered alongside. According to the salon, its model takes the blowout salon idea further than most.

For hair color, the base color service covers root touch-ups and gloss or toner for women whose hair ranges from jet black to fair blonde. It does not include highlighting, lifting or cutting. Redken and Joico Professional Hair Color are the lines used. Men can also book color, with options chosen around the coverage they want. Express Touch Up covers the hairline and part, takes about 10 minutes of processing and roughly 30 minutes in total. Clients can bring their own color formula, or stylists can match a shade without one. Root touch-ups are commonly booked every 2 to 4 weeks, though this varies by client. Root touch-up packages of 4, 6 or 12 visits expire one year after purchase.

The Makeup Bar offers set looks named Truffle, Haute n Steamy, Dulce de Leche, Black Tie and Calypso, as well as custom looks. Full makeup prep includes a cleanser, exfoliation and moisturizer. Brow waxing and brow tinting are available, and the tinting is described as a way to correct uneven brows and fill sparse areas. Eye-only, eye with lashes, and full-face looks with lashes are all bookable. A 75-minute one-on-one class walks the client through application step by step on their own face and ends with product recommendations. Halloween and costume makeup starts at $85, with a 20% gratuity added at checkout.

Bridal services include wedding day hair with a free consultation (pricing is set at that consultation), wedding day makeup and a Bridal Beauty Package. Wedding day hair can be a Cafe Au Lait updo or any style the client picks. Wedding day makeup is discounted 10% when booked with the package, and the package gives 10% off blowouts for at least three scheduled dates. Bridal blowouts are also offered for engagement photos, showers, bachelorette parties and rehearsal dinners. Parties for birthdays, bachelorettes, showers and girls' nights out can be booked with blowouts and makeup, and complimentary beverages are offered during them.

Booking is often possible the same day and can be done online, though stylist requests are not guaranteed through online booking; clients who want a particular stylist should call the salon. Cancellations with less than 12 hours' notice are charged 50% of the service fee, and no-shows are charged 100%.
