The Altar Studio began as a shared project between two artists and presents itself as a more personal alternative to a traditional salon.

Nail services include a single-color set, a set with statement art on one or two nails per hand, and a full design with art on three to ten nails, all in acrylic, gel, or Gel-X. In-house soak off is offered. Lash services include classic or angel, volume, wet lash, and mega volume full sets, along with fills at one, two, or three weeks, a Korean lash lift, and extension removal. Waxing covers Brazilian, bikini, underarms, brow, neck, and ear, plus upper lip, chin, and nose.

Education is a separate part of the studio. A half-day and a full-day lash shadowing experience are open to aspiring lash artists, students, and beauty professionals. These are observation-only, with no hands-on application, certification, or licensure. A free information call covers the nail technology apprenticeship.

Bookings are made online, and the studio accepts online payment. A booking policy document is linked from the site. The studio is open Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Sundays from 10 AM to 2 PM, and is closed on Saturdays.

The studio frames beauty as self-expression, confidence, connection, and time set aside for yourself.
