The Aesthetic Vanity

The Aesthetic Vanity was founded in 2018 by Brittany Lewis, also known as TAV, and was established as an LLC in 2021. It started with lash services and has since grown into education, mentorship, product development, tooth gems, branding and content creation.

Its training arm is The Lash Underground Academy. The Lash Underground is a brand and education platform the business created for lash artists, covering technical lash skills alongside branding, marketing, self-expression and the business side of lash work. The business describes the brand as award-winning and as a community built around identity, artistry and transformation.

Each extension is attached to one natural lash with medical-grade adhesive and does not touch the skin. Work can include decals, colored lashes, bottom lashes and glitter. The business notes that individual lashes can damage natural lashes if mishandled. Appointments include a massage recliner with six speed settings and soothing music.

Fills are recommended every two weeks, with a removal and fresh set after every three fills. A fill needs at least half the lashes remaining, and a three-week fill carries a $10 charge. Anything after three weeks is treated as a full set. Same-day appointments carry a $50 fee and depend on availability. The business does not offer refunds or exchanges.
