THATG Studio is run by founder and owner Kelsey Joelle, an esthetician who first built an independent practice in 2020 and later brought it into the studio. The space is an airy loft with a warm, comfortable feel in the historic Flat Iron Building in Wicker Park.

The facial menu is built around skin concerns. The THATG Facial is a customized treatment offered in a 60-minute version for $210 and a 90-minute version for $300 that includes dermaplaning. The HydraGlow Facial is a 60-minute treatment for $330 that combines a pore cleanse, a hydrating serum and LED light therapy. Dermaplaning is also offered as a one-hour Sheen Facial for $240, and a 30-minute Express facial for $100 can be done on the face or back, without extractions. Chemical peels take 45 minutes for $265 and are usually done as a three-part series about a month apart, starting with a facial that confirms whether the client is a candidate.

Makeup sessions run one hour for $250 and suit events, shoots and special occasions. A 90-minute makeup learning session for $300 is hands-on, with a how-to guide and a shopping list to take home. Glow Groups bring a group to the studio for visits where each guest receives a service, themed either as wellness with facials or as beauty with makeup and blowouts, for occasions such as birthdays, bridal events and holidays.

Waxing covers face, body and brow areas, with options from a 15-minute lip wax for $20 to a 30-minute back wax for $150. Brow and lash tinting are also available, and virtual consults are held online from the client's home for 30 minutes at $100. All services include gratuity, appointments are booked online through the studio's Square page, and eGift cards are sold in $100, $150, $200, $250 or custom amounts.

Personalized facials are built around each client's skin goals, combining clinically backed science with natural methods, and makeup work begins with a consultation.
