Skin Shop is run by licensed estheticians who build customized facials and treatment plans and spend time educating clients about their skin. The studio says it specializes in acne and works with all skin types and tones, and that its acne specialists are certified through Face Reality Skincare.

New clients, and clients who have not booked in more than a year, start with a consultation plus customized treatment (1 hour 5 minutes, $175). That visit covers a review of the home routine, personal history, a skin analysis and assessment, and the intake form, which new clients receive by email and complete before their first visit. Customized facials then run in five levels, from Level 1 at $150 for 50 minutes to Level 5 at $240 for 1 hour 30 minutes, with more add-ons at higher levels. Each includes a double cleanse, steam, extractions, a mask and finishing products. The studio recommends a monthly schedule. Customized treatments do not include peels, which are booked separately.

Beyond facials, the menu includes Chemical Peel Levels 1 and 2, the FactorFive RDS Peel (which replaces the Biorepeel) and liquid microneedling, none of which are open to first-time clients. Arm and back treatments are open to new clients. Body LED light therapy and neck and chest add-ons can be added to a facial. The studio also sells skincare products and offers product pick-up.

Booking requires a credit card on file, and appointments without one are cancelled. Changes made within 24 hours carry an $80 cancellation fee, and cancellations within 3 hours or no-shows are charged the full treatment amount. Arriving 15 minutes or more late counts as a cancellation. Guests are not allowed at appointments, the studio has no waiting room, and goods and services are not refundable or exchangeable. Cash is preferred and AfterPay is accepted.

The studio takes a corrective, professional approach built on customized treatment plans and client education, with chemical peels, microneedling and LED light therapy among its core treatments.
