About

SEV SKIN describes itself as a med spa and runs laser hair removal studios across the US, with locations listed in 15 states. Treatments are performed by nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed estheticians and laser specialists. The business states that its treatments use FDA-cleared technologies.

Before most appointments, a brief medical clearance call confirms eligibility for the first session, and new clients complete a consultation and medical history form before their first laser treatment. Laser hair removal is priced by area size, from $34 for extra-small areas to $639 for a full body treatment, and pricing varies by treatment, area and location. Full body treatment requires a $100 deposit. Clients are asked to shave the area 24 to 48 hours before each session, avoid sun and tanning for at least two weeks beforehand, and wait at least seven days after treatment before shaving again. Mild redness or slight swelling is common and usually settles within a few hours. Laser is not performed over tattooed skin, and the provider avoids treating skin over or near tattoos.

Laser facials, which take about 15 minutes, are described as a way to clarify skin, reduce redness and boost collagen. SkinPen microneedling is offered for texture, fine lines, acne scars and firmness. Cosmetic injections include Xeomin, Botox and Juvederm, along with tox injections and filler. Numbing cream is available for injections, and some skin-restoring treatments use topical numbing.

Plans are a large part of the offering. Laser hair removal memberships run 18 months, allow one laser service per calendar month, and include a free annual touch-up for the treated area once per calendar year after the term ends. They are priced by area, and the booking site describes them as starting at $15 per month. Plans can be paid in full, through PatientFi approved financing, or in installments, with one third due before the first treatment and then 12 equal monthly payments. Laser plan payments are non-refundable except where the law requires a refund. Laser facial memberships carry a six-month minimum and then continue month to month until cancelled through the online account portal. Packages never expire, are non-refundable and are non-transferable.

Treatment plans are described as built around each client's goals and budget. The business presents its values as radical honesty, expert-led care and inclusivity by design, and says it offers price transparency and honest guidance.
