Katie began working in beauty at sixteen as a makeup artist. Her experience includes destination weddings, behind-the-scenes work on editorial shoots, and backstage work at fashion shows. The studio operates under her name on Union Street.

Her training covers skin, hair, lashes and tanning, and she has studied precision cutting, razor cutting, creative color and hair painting. Her education has taken her through San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York and London.

Color services begin with a consultation, which is required before a first color appointment and can be done in person or by text or email. The color menu runs from single process and gloss or toner add-ons to full highlighting and balayage, with partial and full lightening services that include Olaplex treatments and a Cezanne color service. Cuts and styling include a custom haircut with blowout, updos, push ups and a blowout service, and a Deluxe Blowout add-on adds candlelight, aromatherapy, massage and a scalp and hair health treatment. The bridal trial is offered as a house call only.

Appointments are booked through Square. The studio is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and closed on weekends.

Katie works toward a lived-in hair look, with close attention to detail and to hair health.
