Both locations offer a wide menu, from cuts, color and blowouts to body and facial waxing, brow and lash services, facials, skincare and professional makeup. Walk-ins are welcome at both salons. Some services can be booked online, while others are arranged by phone or text so the salon can match clients with the right stylist.

Hair extensions are one of the salon's main focuses. Extensions are offered in three application methods: hand-tied and machine wefts, I-Tips, and Tape-In, with Microlink I-Tip installation and removal also available. The extension hair is human hair, described as ethically sourced, single donor Indian Remy hair that can be reused, and all of it has some wave, so straight extensions are not offered. The hair is sold separately from installation, and consultations are free. The salon says its extension work is damage-free and has led the Bay Area for the past 18 years. It guarantees its extension work with a free maintenance period of 14 days for I-Tips and 7 days for Tape-In and wefts. Extensions are not refundable, and the salon recommends returning within set windows: about 12 weeks for I-Tips, 8 weeks for wefts and 6 weeks for Tape-In. Bleaching extensions is not recommended, and a strand test is advised before dyeing or toning them. The salon does not guarantee quality on extensions that are not Monti brand.

The salon's training arm, Monti Extensions & Academy, was created in 2016 by co-owner Deb Monti. It offers one- and two-day courses in three application methods, open to the salon's own stylists and to students from Cosmo only. The salon says all of its extensionists are trained in the Monti Method and certified.

Keratin smoothing treatments coat the hair with protein to reduce frizz and add softness and shine. They are formaldehyde-free and take between one and three hours, depending on hair type, length and the option chosen. Add-on treatments, including Oribe deep treatment masks, Kerastase Fusio-Dose and Wella 90 Second Repair, can be combined with a visit. The Hydrafacial Deluxe is a customized facial that combines water dermabrasion, a peel, red light therapy and boosters chosen for the client's skin needs; the salon calls it its most popular Hydrafacial. Spray tanning is also listed, as a single or double coat from $65 and $75, with face-only and partial body options.

Pricing varies by stylist and by hair length, thickness or texture, and combination prices are offered. Prices are subject to change, and clients can call with questions. Appointments should be canceled at least 48 hours in advance; cancellations inside that window, or missed appointments, are charged 50% of the cancelled service. Onsite wedding services have a $2,000 minimum, and gratuity, travel fees, tolls and parking are added to the grand total. Milváli Rewards lets clients earn points for visits, referrals and product purchases, which can be checked in the Milváli app.

The salon describes its focus as natural, low-maintenance beauty without harsh lines or overdone results. The San Francisco team says it puts hair health and client satisfaction first.
