During a visit, children sit in vehicle-themed styling chairs and can watch a movie while they get their haircut. Treats such as lollipops and animal crackers are available, along with TV and video games. After each haircut, a child picks a treasure from a treasure chest. Themed packages cover first haircuts, birthdays, princess and pirate looks, and birthday parties are offered. A retail section sells hair accessories, gifts and other items.

Walk-ins are welcome when there is availability, or clients can book through the Pigtails & Crewcuts app. Online booking on the booking page is limited to certain email domains. Store hours are 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, and the salon is closed on Sundays.
