Nova Salon began as a two-chair suite and later moved into a full salon of its own. The founders opened it as a place where independent stylists could work alongside peers who share their outlook.

Stylists at the salon work at a range of price points, experience levels and specialties. New clients fill out a new client form and are matched with a stylist. Because services vary by stylist, some stylists use their own names for services, so the full menu is shown when you book with a specific stylist.

The salon aims for a warm, inviting, familiar space that puts comfort and ease first, and it describes its experience as luxury. Clients can work on a laptop during their visit at laptop desks, and shampoo is done in reclining chairs.

Color services include Gray Coverage, Custom Global Color, Dimensional Brunette and Custom Lowlight, along with Lived In and Partial Lived In. Extension services cover custom coloring for extensions, extension install and beaded row extensions, which are fully customized and begin with a consultation. Haircuts include a wash and style. The salon carries only Davines products.

Gift cards come in amounts of $50, $75, $100 and $200, or a custom amount. Gift card sales are final.

The salon was built to support independent stylists who want to work with like-minded people, and it works with the Davines product line throughout.
