The building once housed Wise's Tavern. According to the salon, George Washington was first publicly addressed as President there on April 16, 1789, and he celebrated the ratification of the Constitution at the tavern in 1788, choosing it twice for birthday celebrations.

Color is the core of the work. Sessions for new and existing clients begin with an in-depth consultation and finish with a custom color gloss, blow-dry, and style. New guest bookings are scheduled for an extended amount of time, and new clients are asked to text ahead with their hair history and goals.

Beyond color, the menu includes haircuts, extensions made from hand-tied hair, and the QiQi smoothing treatment. Makeup and updos for special occasions and bridal appear under Specialty Services in the booking tab, and gift cards are available. The salon is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM, and on Sunday and Monday by appointment only.
