Cutting and texture work covers a wide range. Precision cuts are shaped to face shape and lifestyle, and cuts are offered for fine, thick, curly, coily, wavy and straight hair. Curly cuts are done with dry cutting and curl-by-curl shaping and follow DevaCut certified techniques. Keratin Complex treatments use a patented encapsulation system that the salon says keeps formaldehyde from being released into the air, and keratin treatments are also offered to help with coastal Rhode Island humidity. A visit starts with a consultation that covers hair history, preferences, how much upkeep the client wants and their goals. Front desk staff help book the appointment and match clients with a stylist, and prices vary by stylist based on experience. Clients can book online or set up standing weekly appointments, and appointments are confirmed 48 hours ahead. Changes need at least 24 hours' notice, and a cancellation fee follows the service that was booked. If a client is not satisfied, the stylist will fix the hair within seven days when the client calls within that window. Cash, check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted, and tips are cash only.
