Miguel Lopez and Will K opened the salon together in 2004 and have worked in Manhattan for more than twenty years. The salon recently moved to its current studio on Fifth Avenue, Suite 309.

Every visit begins with a consultation, and the founders aim for an open discussion about what the client wants, how they live and what their hair has been through before anything is done. Miguel's consultations are unhurried, while Will's are calm and not sales-driven. Walk-in consultations are welcome, as are booked appointments.

The menu covers color, smoothing, extensions, density solutions, cuts and styling, texture care and bridal and event styling. Extensions and major color services can run four hours or more, and a phone consultation is recommended before MicroLines, extensions and major color changes. All chemical services are done with the Aerovex source-capture ventilation system running.

The salon also rents chair space to established independent stylists, who book through ArtistOnGo and share amenities, reception support and storage.

Founder-led and consultation-first: each visit starts with a conversation about goals, lifestyle and hair history, and every service is performed personally by one of the two founders.
