About
Miguel is a co-founder and Master Colorist. He had already built a hairstyling career in Manhattan when the salon opened in 2004. He has been a certified Hairdreams specialist since 2002 and has installed extensions for Manhattan clients for more than 22 years. He is known for Hairdreams extensions and applies them personally.
His color work centers on hand mixing and blending tone and depth for each client. He believes beautiful color should look natural rather than obviously done. He also performs Magic Sleek and Matrix OptiSmooth treatments himself, and he suggests Magic Sleek for clients whose hair has not fully responded to other treatments. Work featured in the salon gallery includes Hairdreams extensions and precision cuts and styling.
His training includes beauty school and further study at several industry academies. He has also worked at international hair shows and on editorial shoots.
