The salon grew out of the belief that hair should reflect a person's confidence and individual style. Its mission is a personalized experience centered on healthy hair and authentic beauty, and it says client well-being is central to every service.

Pricing depends on hair complexity, the length of the treatment and the specific care required. A consultation is considered essential before any service, and clients are asked to cancel at least 24 hours ahead. Cancellations made with less notice carry a fee that is added to the next visit.

The salon works with local artists, makers and small businesses as community partners, hosting events and showing their work in the space. Artwork by local artist Alfonso Huckleberry hangs in the salon, NOVE home and body decor is sold in the shop, and Summer Pennie's pop-art paintings are sold only at the salon. The owners plan to grow the space into a community hub with workshops, wellness events and outreach.
