Every M Salon stylist is required to complete an internship covering current cutting, color and styling. The salon also runs an in-house training program for its stylists, and owner Caitlyn Verret invests in advanced education for herself and the team.

Clients can park with complimentary valet. Every service requires a credit card on file as a security deposit, and cancelling or rescheduling within 24 hours of an appointment incurs a charge of 50% of the total service fee. Capes and robes are provided for color services. Children cannot be left unsupervised in the salon, and a young child needs an additional caretaker because the salon does not offer childcare. Children aged 12 and older may wait in the seating area if they can sit quietly and unsupervised. The salon is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal items, but offers coverage for personal items on request.

Haircut prices start at $58 for men's haircuts, styling alone and hair dressing (which does not include a blow-out), and at $78 for a haircut and style. Hair extensions are priced at $100. Color pricing starts at $55 for tonal treatments and gloss, $100 for one-process color and dimensional highlights or lowlights, $125 for permanent, $250 for balayage and $400 for the Brazilian Blow-Out keratin treatment. Two-process color and thermal relaxer are priced by quote. Makeup is priced per person: lips $5, lashes $15, eye makeup $30, a 30-minute face application $45, a 60-minute full face $90, a 75-minute full face with lashes $105, and an on-location 90-minute full face $170. A half-day on-location full face is $550, and a full-day on-location full face is priced by quote.

The salon is open Tuesday to Friday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and is closed on Mondays. Phone is (713) 527-7800.
