Luminosity Hair Studio focuses on low-maintenance haircuts and natural-looking color with an effortless finish. The team works from the Mueller location, and each stylist brings a personal style and set of techniques, so clients can choose the person whose work suits their hair and needs.

The studio is owned by Emily, who also works behind the chair. Clients can book a free face-to-face chat with her, arranged by email, before deciding on a service. Haircuts are booked as either a 45-minute or a 75-minute appointment. The shorter slot suits shorter cuts and trims with layers and does not include a wash or blow dry. The longer slot is for bigger changes, donation cuts, or a cut with wash and dry. Haircuts are priced from $45 to $100. Clients are asked to arrive with clean, dry hair styled the way they normally wear it.

Color services cover a range of needs. A tint starts at $110 and covers new growth on hair that has been colored before. Clients who want all of their hair colored add the extra color service to a tint booking. Gloss is $100 and is a demi-permanent color used for grey blending, toning highlights, adding shine or making a tonal change; it usually lasts 6 to 8 weeks. Balayage and foil highlights start at $190 and can be partial or full, mainly for new growth on previously lightened hair. Clients starting new with balayage or highlights add the extra color service to their booking.

Transformation color, which covers fantasy color, drastic color changes and color correction, and double process color, a tint combined with highlights or balayage, are both priced hourly. A consultation with Emily is required for transformation color in most cases.
