Lucky 13 Salon Collective

Lucky 13 Salon Collective brings together independent stylists in Clintonville, Columbus, at 3131 N High Street. Rather than one team under one roof, each stylist runs their own business within a shared, collaborative setting.

The collective describes its mission as building on inclusivity, authenticity and quality. It aims to give stylists freedom and flexibility in how they work and live, and to pair the independence of solo work with peer support. It describes itself as a gender-affirming space that welcomes everyone without hate.

Booking happens through each stylist. Clients can choose a stylist and use that stylist's link to see their service menu and schedule, or leave the stylist blank to get the first available opening. Each stylist sets their own prices, which are listed in the online booking system. A stylist may refer a client to a colleague they feel is a better fit, and clients can email a stylist directly or email the salon for help choosing. Parking is on the street only, usually available along High Street or around the corner on California Avenue.

The collective says it looks for clean haircare companies that use quality ingredients and consider their environmental impact.
