Visits start with extended consultation time so each cut or color can be planned with the client. Color appointments take a few hours and have no reserved end time, since timing can be unpredictable. New clients, and clients making a big color change, fill out a New Client Form before or right after booking. Children are not welcome at appointments. Clients are encouraged to bring photos of hair they like, and to arrive with clean, dry, down hair free of clips, ties, pins, and heavy oil or butter products. For single process, double process, or scalp-level color correction, arriving with hair unwashed for at least two days is requested. Color correction is priced by the hour with a three-hour minimum and can run up to eight hours, and consulting is done by email first through a Jotform submission.
The menu covers hand-painted balayage, ombre highlights that fade into a chosen shade, foil highlights, single and double process color, toner, and a bright veggie dye that works only on previously bleached hair. Haircuts include a two-hour new client cut and a 90-minute cut, plus a 30-minute dry bang trim. Blowouts come in diffused, straight, voluminous, and beach wave styles, and updos are not offered in haircut or blowout services. A K18 leave-in mask is included with all lightening services and can be added to any appointment. A 90-minute scalp detox using organic haircare, steam, and Tricho-scope scalp analysis is recommended every one to three months. The salon also offers a sliding scale haircut for clients who cannot otherwise afford full price, with four slots a month, and the price is chosen at checkout. Pricing is not based on gender, and tips are included in service prices and never expected.
The salon chooses hair products made with natural ingredients and free of synthetic fragrances, and includes hair care and scalp education during appointments. It aims to make each client's hair reflect who they are and to affirm their gender expression. The salon acknowledges that it operates on the ancestral lands of the Coast Salish people and commits to learning their history and supporting Indigenous communities.
Plans each cut or color in an extended consultation with the client, uses natural-ingredient products without synthetic fragrance, and includes hair care and scalp education in visits.
