Sugar & Shears is a hair salon and organic spa on East Madison Street in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. Ashley and Karina founded it in 2018 around a shared vision, and it has served clients in Capitol Hill for close to ten years.

The salon's stated mission is to shape each client's visit around their own needs, expectations and goals.

Extensions come in tape-in, hand-tied and keratin fusion styles, plus custom EasiHair Pro extensions. Keratin and detox treatments and a hair restoration series are also offered, along with bridal and special event hair and makeup.

On the skin side, the menu includes organic facials, three HydraFacial levels, microneedling, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, several peels, and sugaring for face and body. Brows and lashes are offered, along with permanent hair removal and redness and pigment reduction using a Clarity II laser. Consultations are complimentary, and some services such as the laser and microblading begin with one. Bookings require a valid credit card, and clients are asked to arrive five to ten minutes early.

The salon tailors each visit to the client's needs, expectations and goals, and holds that care at home is the root of healthy skin and hair. It uses in-demand hair and skin care products.
